About the Author
Born in Georgia, Roger P. Bolton attended Georgia Tech, where he played on the basketball and baseball teams. He later transferred to Mercer University, where he continued his athletic and academic career. He later earned a Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky. After working as an Admissions Director for a college and pastoring three small Baptist churches, Bolton spent most of his career in hospital management and administration. After retiring, Bolton has completed training as a Pastoral Counselor and currently works in the areas of individual and marriage and family counseling, working with domestic violence groups and alcohol and drug clients.
He and his wife, Jane, reside in Conyers, Georgia. They are the parents of three children and have seven grandchildren. In addition to his work, Rev. Bolton and Jane can be found at a sports complex watching their grandchildren or enjoying a wicked game of golf.
